Stauffer Counseling

Move toward wholeness.

Welcome to the table.

I am glad your curiosity and courage have brought you this far in your pursuit of growth. I strongly believe that engaging in counseling is not a matter of weakness or deficiency, but rather a matter of strength and grit, hopefulness and appetite. So, welcome to the table. I am thrilled you are here!

My name is Beckie Stauffer and it is my joy and my commitment to cultivate a safe, healthy, and empowering environment as you move towards greater wholeness. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in human nutrition and shortly after, became a registered dietitian. After working with clients regarding health, body image, self-care, and worth, I decided to seek further training in counseling at Denver Seminary. My work experience in the fields of dietetics and mental health have validated the critical nature of being altogether healthy- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

This is my hope for you- that you are able to experience whole and sacred living. By participating in the hard work of vulnerability, authenticity, reflection, and adjustment, you might come to know wholeness and have it in abundance. It is my great privilege to partner with you, cheer you on, and encourage you in this life changing pursuit.

“I believe that suffering is part of the narrative, and that nothing really good gets built when everything’s easy. I believe that loss and emptiness and confusion often give way to new fullness and wisdom.”
— Shauna Niequist
We have real difficulty here because everyone thinks of changing the world, but where, oh where, are those who think of changing themselves? People may genuinely want to be good, but seldom are they prepared to do what it takes to produce the inward life of goodness that can form the soul.
— Richard Foster
What you give your attention to is the person you become.
